Five Wednesday Nights - February 24 – March 31

Together we will Break Bread, Break Open the Word, Share and Pray

Over the 5 Wednesday nights of Lent we will be reflecting on how the Word and Sacraments give voice and clarity to our yearning to know and love God.  

Henri Nouwen’s wonderful book , With Burning Hearts, A Meditation on the Eucharistic Life will provide the common ground for our conversation.  

In addition, the youth of our parish will begin the program by nourishing our bodies with a soup supper and they will bring our time together each evening to a close by nourishing our spirits as they lead us in Compline. 

I hope your schedules will provide the opportunity to enjoy the entirety of each evening as its three component parts form the holy shape of breaking bread together, breaking open the Word together, and sharing prayer-together as a community of faith.
