The Cloud 9 Board of St. Stephen’s Parish voted unanimously to suspend its Spring 2023 grant cycle after awarding substantial gifts to St. Stephen’s and two other non-profit organizations in our greater community in 2022.  

The largest Legacy gift continues to be the funding of Cloud 9 Academy on St. Stephen’s campus. An additional Legacy gift supported the renovation and enlargement of St. Joseph School’s student library in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Its third Legacy gift for the 2022 fiscal year was given to Elizabeth Gregory House, located in the University District, to assist in the renovation of its kitchen facility so that it can continue its important work of helping homeless and at-risk women.

The Board and Grants Committee will continue to monitor its gifted projects and update the congregation and community at large as we move forward into the year..
