The Rev'd Dr. Suzi Robertson

The Rev’d Dr. Suzi Robertson—first and foremost—wants you to call her “just” Suzi and warmly welcomes your presence (and questions!) to St. Stephen’s.   Suzi is a program visionary, a compassionate pastor and a traditional leader in worship, community development and training.  She has a long list of credentials and publications, which include work in children’s ministry, administration, and leadership and four theological degrees. She and her husband, the Rev. Nolen D. Holcomb, joined St. Stephen’s in August of 2021.

Every church and school Suzi has served has experienced growth in both numbers and leadership. Suzi previously served in the Diocese of Olympia at The Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan in Sammamish from 2009-2015, where she took the church from mission to parish status during her tenure. Most recently Suzi was the founding priest of a new Episcopal Campus for the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Granbury, Texas, where she led the church as they made the discernment to build a new church campus, completed in 2019. On her return to the Northwest and installation as Interim Rector of St. Stephen’s, The Right Rev. Greg Rickel, former Bishop of the Diocese of Olympia observed, “St. Stephen’s has been a prominent point of nurture as a neighborhood church.  Its facilities are beautiful, it is well led with gifted music and administrative leaders on staff and among the laity. It deserves the best we can offer.”

Under Suzi’s leadership, St. Stephen’s is becoming “The Neighborhood Church” for the whole region.
