Community Life

At St. Stephens, we engage in ministry as a community – the gathered body of Christ – so that all come to know God’s presence in their own lives and those of others. We envision of a world in which God’s transforming love is lived, shared, and celebrated by all. Join us in our mission to bring this world about!

Music & Choir

Thursdays, 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Music is central to St. Stephen’s life of worship and spiritual growth. We value the Anglican musical tradition as well as more contemporary songs and instrumental pieces. The Chapel Choir leads worship every Sunday from September – June and members of the community share their gifts of music routinely. We often commission and debut new works.

Children at Laurelhurst Early Learning

Laurelhurst Early Learning

LEL is a licensed, full-day, non-profit preschool offering high-quality, affordable education for children aged 30 months to 6 years. Sponsored by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, the school emphasizes the development of the whole child, integrating cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth to meet each child’s unique requirements.

Community Partnerships

St. Stephen’s gathers food and other items year-round for distribution by several organizations that are serving our neighbors in need. We also volunteer our time to sort items for distribution and to serve food.
