Sermon Archive
Each Sunday, the worshipping community hears readings from the Bible, including both the Hebrew and Christian scriptures (commonly called the “old” and “new” testaments). A sermon immediately follows, with the intention to “break open” the Word of God and proclaim the gospel (literally “good news”) to the gathered community.
St. Stephen’s values the voices and perspectives of different preachers, believing that insight into God’s love and desire for the world comes from the diverse experiences and wisdom of fellow Christians.
